I sure seem to have and write about a lot of pet peeves lately. Here’s another one: I really hate it when advertisers pop a window up on my computer or phone, and they have hidden the way to close that window. I hate having to look at it forever to finally see the X in the corner, or the wording in small print, that will get rid of it.
I don’t know why they do it! There must be more people than me who decide that they will NEVER buy anything from that company. What a waste of time, energy, and money! I don’t know if they do it on purpose, or if they are just stupid! Either way, they have either lost my business (if they ever had it), or guaranteed that I will never purchase anything from them.
I have an idea – companies should standardize the way they do things like that, so that consumers know they can always close a window the same way. I know that a company that did that would win my business!
