Wow! I can hardly believe that we have been married for 35 years now; it seems like yesterday that I met this cute guitar player and fell in love. I know it is cliche – but time goes by fast, and the older you get, the faster it goes.
So Happy Anniversary a couple days ago, Sweetie. Things haven’t always been easy, but they’ve always been good. As corny as it sounds, I knew pretty early on in our relationship that we would be together. And I also remember thinking how we would be when we got to our 40s. I guess that our 40s were okay, and those years were a while ago now.
I would like to say “Here’s to another 35,” but I don’t know that either of us wants to live that long. Instead, maybe I will just say that I hope the rest of our time together is as happy as we are right now. Happy Anniversary!
