Embrace the unknown

More uncertainty in my life – it’s really time to learn to embrace the unknown!

My husband is retiring at the end of the month; now is the time to get comfortable with uncertainty. We don’t even know what we don’t know at this point. How is Social Security going to work out? Will we have enough money? How do we get money out of our IRAs and 401K? When do we tap into the annuity? Can we afford to travel? Will I be able to travel? Are we picking the best Medicare options? Are the choices we are making now changeable in the future?

We have a million questions and about 3 answers right now.

All I can do is breathe – inhale and exhale. My new mantra is “It’s all going to be fine.”
