This world is a scary place right now. There are so many things happening that I just don’t understand. I admit that I do not understand the “I got mine, screw you” mentality that some people seem to have these days. I don’t understand the people who feel like they have to have the most of everything, even if it is more than they can possibly use, and even while there are people out there who have nothing. I don’t understand how people can look at other people and decide, with no other knowledge of the situation, that they must be bad people because they are not rich. I don’t understand so much.
I don’t understand not helping other people. I don’t understand not sharing information. I don’t understand people thinking that they made it entirely on their own, when they are where they are because they have enjoyed using the infrastructure put in place for the benefit of all. I don’t understand people not paying their fair share of taxes, but demanding that others do.
I don’t understand why we don’t look out for everyone. After all, we are all the same. We are one; what hurts one of us, hurts us all. There is enough for all of us if we just share.
The bottom line here is that I just don’t understand.
I’m with you! I’m afraid to wear a Bernie tee shirt because it might be like wearing a target. There’s so much that’s wrong with that. Imagine a world where we treated each other with love and tried to understand each other as fellow human beings… All I can say is I hope things get better for everyone and the Earth.
