It’s the day after Christmas and, try as I might, I can’t seem to keep on a schedule. I have decided that it doesn’t matter. If I miss a week writing here, then I miss a week – it’s not the end of the world. I don’t have any good excuses, but I don’t need them. It is what it is. Historically, my day-to-day normal schedule slows down as I gear up for Christmas. My rhythms seem ingrained in my body, even though I don’t get out and do the last minute “Christmas stuff” I used to do every year.
Bear with me as I learn to go with the flow of my own rhythms. They may change in the years ahead, as I get used to retirement, or they may not. I hope everyone had and continues to have great holidays!
