I am not in a great mood; things are not going my way right now. And I know that this will change; things will get better than they are. Change is the only constant in life, and I have to believe that things will get better.
It’s a good time to count my blessings, to help remind me that there is so much to be thankful for in this world. I enjoy my Buddha garden, babies laughing, playing Scrabble with good friends, napping on the patio, early morning bird songs, good coffee, spending time with loved ones, nights of cards, discovering good books, online Backgammon, great nieces and nephews, time to just sit and think, finishing projects, having friends over, puzzles of all kinds, being married to the love of my life, someone else deciding what’s for dinner, coconut water, helping people, finding my tribe…. There is so much more, but even this lifts my spirits.
If you’re not having a great day, count your blessings – it will help!
