I feel like I am repeating myself, but here I am talking about my knee again. I do have some new information. I am now scheduled for another shot in my knee next week. It took some time to get through to the lady at the clinic who is supposed to schedule it, and my doctor has been out of the office, but I finally have an appointment scheduled.
I have anxiety about getting this shot, as I have been told it is thicker than the cortisone shot, and it will feel like my knee is “filling up” as the substance is going into it. Since I passed out after my last cortisone shot and I don’t like that feeling, this one concerns me. I had talked to the doctor about taking a pill I have left over from another procedure for the anxiety, and he said that as long as I am not driving it is fine to take it. I plan on it!
