Be gentle with the people around you – you never know what they are going through. They could have spent the last 1/2 hour searching for their kid’s shoe so they could take them to day care; they could be trying to function through bone-numbing fatigue caused by their auto-immune disease that you cannot see; they could have just lost a family member. You just don’t know.
It costs you nothing to give someone a little grace and cut them some slack. Treat them like you would want to be treated.
