If I get to choose – and I do – then today is a day that I am going to be in gratitude. I always seem to be able to come up with things to complain about. My life is not perfect – if yours is, then more power to you. And even in my less-then-perfect life, there is so much to be grateful for. In no particular order: I have many people who love and care about me, a terrific husband and son, good coffee, enough food, clean drinking water, a roof over my head, a nice cozy bed, books to read, a computer, the internet, and many, many more wonderful things a large part of the world would call luxuries. I really shouldn’t complain, and yet I do. But not today – today I give thanks for the many blessings that I often forget I have.
