I am back, and I can’t think of a better way to start fresh than to be grateful. I am grateful for my many blessings, for the people in my life, for the lows that make me appreciate the highs, for good doctors, that my back surgery went well, for the warmer weather, for the birds singing outside my windows, that my 90-year-old mother is doing so well, for my wonderful husband and son, for peanut butter, for my house, for hot and cold running water, for time to write, for sleeping through the night (when it happens), for friends, for spinach, for protein smoothies, for grace, for abundance, for security, and for everything else I have that I am not remembering to mention right now. This is far from a complete list, but rather a start.
